Inspiration!!

Well I did my first Effer Dare yesterday!! I have to admit I have been an Effer stalker for a long time, and I had this pic out (my fave of me from a long time ago) and I really needed the inspiration to complete the LO!! Thanks ladies!!

BIG NEWS!!!

How excited am I????????????? Well while I was outside planting my corn in the ground I missed an AWESOME call!! Thank goodness for answering machines!!!!!! Well I got the message from Natalie from www.amillionmemories.com that I made their DT!!! Woo Hoo!!! I am still doing the happy dance!!! The really happy dance!!! AMM ROCKS!!! I have ordered from them as a customer and their super fast and have great CS!! OMGosh do the kits ROCK!!! I cannot believe I made the DT!!!!!!

Bad Blogger

Why can I never get myself to do this?? Well Easter is over, and was so much fun!! The kids had a blast with the egg hunt. We had a BBQ and enjoyed the beautiful day. Very rainy today, thank goodness for Sprout!! I think I will just give a run down on what the kids are upto...

I have not been scrapping every day, but have been able to get more then 1 LO done on the days I do scrap. I am lovin' all the new stuff I have been getting!! Alexa is becoming a very good scrapper for a 3 year old!! I have all her papers and stickers and glue set-up for her. She is too cute!!

Well well well

It has been a while since I Bloged!! That is what I was told by David so I thought I better get on that, and here I am 5 days later, LOL!!

The Monday (yes last Monday) Blog challenge was to write about what you can't live without!! Well My life is so full of so many things and amazing people I could not live without!! My hubby, who yes can drive me nuts!! but I could not imagine a day without him. My babues who are my 2 miracles and I just want to smother them forever!! My In-Laws who are such amazing people I am so lucky to have them!! My real life friends. I really feel so sad for people who cannot just pick up a phone and call a great friend!! Heather, I think we talk 2 or 3 times a day. I cannot wait to see that baby!! Robbie, who is like the good brother I never had. There have been so many times I have called him just to vent. He has always been there for all my life emergencies, and I love him so much for that!! David (AKA Poe, or Sir) Not one person on this planet can make me laugh like he can!! He is one of my oldest friends (almost 2/3's of my life), and I have no idea what my life would be without him!! Annie, though we don't talkmuch you are like my friend version of a soul-mate!! No matter what you know what is going on inside me, and I to you!! Here is a {{{BIG HUG}}} for you!!

Then there is my hobby/craft/sanity!! I scrap and have the worlds greatest online scrappy friends a girl could ask for!! We even have a new home to chat about our scrapping!! It is a board full of ladies that love to scrap and chat scrap, and make everyone else around them want to be happy and scrappy too!! Life is GOOD!! I think what makes it so hard is that there is a tendency for people to get so wrapped up in the cyber world that they forget about the Real Life world and friends and that you never know who or what is really on the other side of that post!! I know myself and so many others just want to go to a board to escape the stress and have fun!! I am so happy that we have a new board to do that on!! When I am down or have IRL stuff I pick up the phone and talk to an IRL friend, and I guess I am lucky that I can do that and that I have so many great friends to do that with!!

I have also been so blessed this past year in my scrappy life (LOL)!! I subbed to a fantastic club, and reallyloved the owner so much. She was always great to chat with and her kits were to die for!! SO when I saw her DT call I was all over it. Now I am an Edger!! Amber is the bestest and TSE ROCKS!!! www.thescrappingedge.net is celebrating it's first birthday!! Amber is so awesome that she is giving a gift to all those who sub!! She really is the bestest most generous person ever!!

I also have been so lucky in my life to have the whole bunch at www.just4keeps.com not only is the store awesome!! but the board is full of some of the most wonderful and talented people you will ever meet!! Kathy and Jennifer have really made such a great community there!! I was so lucky to be there March guest designer!! Wow was I thrilled and stunned when I was asked, I was not worthy!!

Ah that brings me to the Willows!! Thank you so much Christina for that wonderful, enabling, fun, enjoyable place!! What a fun, enabling group!! Yes very enabling!! I just wanted to give a {{{big hug}}} to all the WIllows!!

3 Years Ago.....

3 years ago today was one of the bestest days of my entire life!! Exactly 3 years ago today we finally brought our little baby girl home from the hospital!! It was a long Feb and most of March driving back and forth to White Plains Hospital in the snow. We had so much snow that winter. There was only 1 day that I could not make it to the hospital, and thanks to the amazing NICU nurses It was OK. They let me talk to Alexa in her incubator, and they gave me updates every couple of hours. Gosh all of those days just seemed to blend into one... wake up shower spend 10 hours at the NICU, go home cook dinner eat dinner with Bill and go back to the NICU until 1 AM.

Then the day finally came!!! She had no apnea for over 2 weeks and was 4 1/2 pounds and could finally come home!! She was so tiny we had to put a beanie baby in her seat to keep her from shifting, and 3 rolled up receiving blankies. We were so nervouse in the car, LOL!! Looking back it was so funny Bill said "OK we get her home and seal the bubble until she is 40"...."she is staying with mommy and daddy forever!!"

Well that was 3 years ago and right now my peanut is watching Dragon Tales in her Cinderella dress, with the Jasmine hat on.

I'm Back!!

OK so I have not Blogged in a bit, but here I am at 11:17PM wide awake bloggin' my heart out, LOL!! I have my iTunes playin' (Far behind by Candlebox on right now). I LOVE this song, I think it is from like 1993, YIKES!!!

Well I am freezing, we were spoiled by the 84 degree weather this past week. Now it is 50 and I feel like I am barefoot in Alaska!! I should just be happy I am not still in NY where they may have SNOW this weekend. I am so over snow, LOL sorry everyone still in snow country.

I got my XPC and am so in LOVE!! I think that is where I have been instead of bloggin'. I suggest anyone on the fence about it go for it!! I did my LO for my swap on GTTLC and so wish it were for me. I may have to lift my own LO!! I have really been taking my time with my LO's lately. I love having my studio and being able to justleave a LO and get back to it.

Naps are good!!

Wow my kids need to nap!! The guys were here putting in the LR carpet this AM, and it took a while, so the kids did not get to nap like usual. BOY O BOY can they show how much they needed that scheduled nap!!!!!!! I am super happy with the carpet though, and it was well worth the lil' grumps!! Alexa will be so heart broken when the furniture comes and she no longer has a ball room!! Poor kid. We have big plans for her on Friday. Bill is off and even though the furniture is coming, someone is taking that kid to Chuckie Cheese!! We went to the LSS on Saturday and I let he pick out her own scrap stuff. She got Chuckie CHeese paper and Dora stickers. Too Stinkin' Cute!!

I got my GD kit in the mail from www.just4keeps.com yesterday. WOW I love these DD Lullabye papers!! Kathy and the ladies at J4K put together a great kit!! I had to rip right into it. I have done a frame and 2 LO's so far.

We had our crop Saturday with www.thescrappingedge.net It was so much fun. I had a great time with the challenges. I did 3 LO's.

Dalis post an awesome ksetch on GTTLC and I had to use it!! I did an LO with the rest of my PP from the AWESOME gift from my Valentine. Thank you so much again Theresa.

TGIF

Well for the first time in the longest Bill will be off tomorrow, so I can actually say TGIF!! It is only 41 degrees right now, BRRRRRR!! Yesterday it went up to 76 degrees. I LOVE VA!! Everyone back up in NY was getting snow ands sleet and ice, while we were eating lunch outside, LOL!! Sorry guys. We were outside all day yesterday, it was fantastic to have my babies playing in their yard. Aunt Flo stopped by and I feel really yicky.

Big scrap news for this weekrnd is the cyber crop at www.thescrappingedge.net I did a LO last night I LOVE!! I did 2 during the day while I was outside, they were OK I like the first of the 2 pages.

I just wanted to thank Amy for giving me so much help with my blog!! Not only is she doing the really cool monday challenge, but she fixed that cute pic up there, yup the one up there at the top with the title init!! YOU ROCK GIRL!!

Today was filled with highs and lows. First off Alexa once again came all of the way accross the house to say she had to go pee pee, instead of just going in her bathroom!! Yup too late she piddled right next to the potty, she tooktoo long. No I was not mad, I was just tired, and now had to change her clothes. So ofcoures I went back to her bed to sleep (that means not much sleep at all). Bill went in to worklate today, so we had some good family time in the AM. I was able to get some work done which was good.

The mailman came bearing tons of goodies today!! My PINK QK!!! A box full of some fun alterables, the sparkle QK die, and a sweetwater kit!! Then we opened the real mail, YUCK!! The STOOPID Verizon bill!! I have had Verizon trauma before, and todays billwas OUT OF CONTROLL!! I called all pissy, and I got the NICEST most wonderful lady on the phone, she actually really helped me!! My Verizon bill will now be about $30 less a month!!

Well I really have not scrapped much in the past 2 days. I made a PB album from a kit I bought before Christmas. It came out super cute!! I think I am going to send it to my SIL!! Other than that not too much else, 1 LO of my bug.

Guilty Pleasure

Well it is Monday and time for another Blog Challenge!! Todays challenge is to spill the beans on your guilty pleasure. Well I can no longer keep them in the house due to my inablity to controll myself at all..................

Russell Stover Pecan Delights, they are little bits od paradise!!! The pecans the gooey caramel, and the chocolate!! What else could a girl need, they are better then the S word!! OK I am the mother of 2 with a 1 YO Mamas boy who sleeps with us everynight, LOL!! I have tried the Hershes POG ones and they do NOT compare.

One thing that is heartbreaking is that RS used to make a caramel, crunchy, chocolate bunny at Easter time, and they stoped making them. I bet my jeans are secretly thanking them.

Well on the scrap front.....

I oredered the QK in PINK!!!!!!!!! I am so psyched I got my shipping notice today, WOO HOO!!!! I have done alot of scrapping this weekend, and I am still LOVIN' the TSE Feb kit!! Surprisingly I am doing a ton of BOY LO's with it!!

Busy Day!!

Well our day started with my in-laws coming for breakfast, and staying for a while. Then they left around 11:30 and too Lexi with them. They took her to see Curious George (which she loved!!) Now I want to get her the soundtrack. Then they were off to Chuckie Cheese. I bet they did not take a camera.

I was home with my little grumpy man. He is feeling better finally, but is defitely lactose intoplerant, poor Bugga!! He helped my get some DT stuff done, and organize the "studio" a bit (ya he really helped, LOL)

I got my DT stuff today!! Amber ROCKS!! I am sure I have said it before, but she really does!! First of all the kit is amazing!! Then she sent us all some awesome goodies!! We each got an MM TAg Maker!! Woo Hoo!! and adhesive. I played my heart out with that kit!! I made the minibok out of the file folder, and altered the clipboard. I would love to get to do a LO tonight!! This has got to be one of my favorite kits ever!! www.thescrappingedge.net RULES!!

Blog Challenges

This is the first, thank you Amy!! I am really hoping this will get me back on the bloggin' wagon. Todays cahllenge was to blog about being a child of the.....

I am a child of the late 80's early 90's. That is when the teen years started and that is what I *sort of* remember, LOL!! Too much partying to remmeber it all!! The only thing I miss other than my black stretch pants, and Farlow jeans are my beloved EG Smith socks. Some of you know my last pair recently died and I am heart broken, :( Boo Hoo!! Hey I wonder if Bloomingdales still sells them, I highly doubt it.

Now we are supposed to blog about something going on with us now.....

The 2 men in the house are sick!! Bill started to paint my scrap space, and the bathroom yesterday, but had to stop due to the sickies:( Now my scrap space is in shambles!! I hope that I can find stuff in there today!! I did a LO last night, wiyth the bare minimums.

What a week!

It has been crazy!! Weather wise it was 72 one day and 32 the next, how crazy is that! My parents were here, UGH!! That is all I have to say about that. The baby was sick with a tummy virus, poor little bugga. He is feeling much better now.

I got a BoBunny Love book kit from my secret Valentine!! OMG it is awesome. I put it together and I love it!!! Not too much scrapping going on until today I have been scrapping my heart out, I needed the break...

Pretty Ribbon!!

OK so I only worked for 2 1/2 hours yesterday and it felt like ALL DAY!! It is so hard to work with the kids hangin' on me. Not to mention the "deleting incident" UGH!!!!!!!!! Boy it is rough!!

I was so happy yesterday. Bill put up my towel rack and I played with ribbon!! I also sold some ribbon that I have way too much of. I was so proud of myself.

Wednesday

Well I really want to just vent a little today!! I am so tired of the kids not sleeping well or not sleepinf in their own beds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to be alone with Bill in bed for 1 night!!! They are totally adjusted to the house, they are just such bad sleepers. I can understand the baby he has got the worst diaper rash ever!! If anyone has any helpful hints for that please post them!!!

I kinda started working today, but my printer was not ver cooperative, so I just typed up what I had to and e-mailed it in to be printed. It is so hard trying to work at home with the kids running around and crying and such. Anyone have and hints on that feel free to post those too.

I do feel very creative in the house. I think I have been doing some of my best scrapping here!! I really love my space I just need to put up shelves DESPERATLY, I can't find a thing so I am taking forever to finish a LO. I really need Bill to take down the GIANT mirror over the scrap area so I can get this place organised.

We're Here

We are here and pretty much settled into the house. Bill starts his new job tomorrow. I am so happy for him!! The kids love the house, so much room to run and crawl and play! Alexa loves the yard, she is such a cutie out there playing. The weather has been wonderful, in the 60's and 70's all week. Today it dropped to the low 50's, and supposed to be high 40's low 50's all week. Winter is here!! Of course there are a few glitches, but nothing major, and Bill had been Mr Fix-it. I am super proud of how well he is doing with all of the house stuff. The lase rooms to do are our bedroom and bath. I want to paint our bathroom RED.

I finally got to scrap yesterday!! I did a DT LO for www.thescrappingedge.net It felt great to have a new scrap space. even with the mess it is in right now, yikes!! I need shelves really badly, and some new storage ideas for stuff like embellies and i need soem verti things for my paper.

Tomorrow Is The Day!!

Sorry I haven'tposted in a while, it has been so crazy with pacling and sick kids and all that goes along with the whole buying a house process!! Alexa is feeling much better, and Wil has a cold/cough. I think his has alot to do wioth teething though.

Well tomorrow is the biig moving out day!! We will pack the remainder of the last minutes stuff tonight and we are all boxed up. Bye Bye NY, Hello VA!!!!

I have fit a little scrapping in here and there. I did get a bunch of DT stuff done for www.thescrappingedge.net (new addy, we have a board and a gallery now, WOO HOO!!!).

Blog, What's that????????

Wow it has been a while. Happy New Year!! It has been crazy to sat the least! We will be outta here hopefully by the 17th!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!! It is getting very empty and echo-ie here, here, here, lol!!

I have been scrapping as much as I can. I am almost done with the Christmas 6x6 chipboard album I am making. I am very impressed with myself for getting as much of this done as I have!!

Boxes and Tape

I am so sick of boxes and tape!!! But the packing is progressing nicely. Sounds like Bill has the job in Newport News, and we may close the 2nd week in Jan when he is down there. Bill is going to be off tomorrow and we plan on getting alot packed!!

I of course am still scrapping daily. If I didn't I would go completely CRAZY!!
