cake!!!!

i meant to share this before st patty's day! sorry
yummy jello cake!

i used a white cake mix, added what was called for on the box
plus 3/4 cup cake flour
bake off cakes (i made 2 9")
cool on rack
when cooled place back in baking pans
make jello as per box directions
you can use a skewer to make small holes in cake
pour jello onto cakes

refrigerate for 3 hours
then carefully remove from pans
you can place parchement rounds in pans to make this part easier
FROSTING!!!!
2c whipping cream
1/2 c sugar
8oz softened cream cheese
1 tsp almond extract
this is called a sturdy whipped cream frosting!

add a generous amount between layers
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
and isn't that purdy!!!
it was soooo good! i went light on the jello, next time i add more!

today i'm making a chocolate chocolate chip banana cake!

tfl!

So very cool! I need to bring cupcakes this weekend to an event and this is perfect for what I am looking for, down to the frosting I wanted to use. Thanks so much for reading my mind all the way in NY.
