you need...

glimmer mist
cs
glimmer screen or other stencil
zig squeeze and glue
glitter
embellishment (i used a qk butterfly)

can you see the cute "snowman soup" on the right?? that was from the sweetest gift from an amazing woman! i know (and so do you) how much i love wip kits! but let me tell you they are only half as awesome as trish (the amazing owner!!!) she is the best!!!

i challenged myself to...

i challenged myself this week to try and use some stash!! i always just grab a kit(yes usually a wipkit lol) and get to business!! i have cropper hoppers overflowing!!! i have sterilite drawers i can't ope they are so over stuffed!!! i just purged a little early this week, and think i really need to sell a flat rate box full of stuff!!! (if you're interested it'll be cheap!!!

so these are the first 2 of my use my stash personal challenge! i used the same paper for both.

guest sussie part 2

here's one from the ki side of the kit. i love me some ki, and bright colors!

since the paper is so bright and bold, i went with a simple design. i used my qk to cut the purse, flower and emboss it.


another from the crate half. i may have gone a little rubon crazy??? maybe???

i used brads to embellish some of the rubons.

i cant believe my baby is almost 14 months old!!!! he was such a good boy for his first hair cut!
this lo is based on this weeks nuts about sketches sketch!

soooo hard to wrap my head around william being 5!!! he's really 5!!!!

sharing a little guest sussie!

i'm so excited to be the February guest designer for scrapbook sussies!!! yay guest sussie!!

here are just a couple pages i did with the kit (there are more i'll be sharing through the week:) )

i painted the thickers with rock candy crackle paint, then punched circles to layer them on. i used pop dots to adhere the letter in warm.

i thought this paper was a perfect match for the pics and for the subject of my page!!




i had so much fun with the rubons in this kit! you'll see more of that in another post :)

i cut the pic of my ds into a circle. then took the paper and found the perfect place to put it!
i used my apron lace punch on the top and bottom of the cs.
put the bird rubon o the brown cs, and placed the flower rubons to look as though the bird was tweeting flowers!

happy birthday peanut!!!!

my peanut princess turns 7 today!!! 7 years ago i was finally done with my 4 (yes i really mean 4 like 4 minute apart contractions for 4 days 4!!!!!) days of labor!! i was only at the end of my 27th week of my pregnancy and soooooo scared!!!!

finally she was here! all 15 inches 2 pounds 9 ounces of her!! she had bleeding in both sinuses of her brain, apnea, but was only on oxygen for 3 hours and the was on a cpap with room air!

it was a long 48 days, with parties with the night nurses when she would reach weight milestones. i remember her 4 pound party like it was yesterday, 8 more ounces and she came home!!!!

and now shes 7! in first grade with lots of friends, and such an amazing big sister, and such a sweet sweet loving daughter!

so cute i'm hoarding it!, pio, and a rak!

i know we all have some cute die cuts that we bought because they were sooooo cute! soooo cute that we just couldn't use them! well while working on this weeks pio challenge, i used some of those very die cute! i used my valentine 2/10 wip kit and added october afternoon die cuts.
i added glitter glaze to the milk cap then made holes with my cod and added the twine so it looked like a button. then on the the bracket i outlined it with stickles.

this weeks pio challenge... no more winter colors. i think i have pink on the brain this week. my little peanut is turning 7!!!! and we have pink-itis going on here for her party, and her school cupcakes etc... so i incorporated the pixie cottage challenge (red white and pink) for this one!

a moment to remember

it was just a couple minutes, but it was just so cute! alexa was showing gavin how to drum on the (very noisy) metal bench while wil was having soccer practice.

it's been a busy few days here. wil's asthma was acting up, gavin has a cold, volunteering at alexas school...

i did this page today, using fancy pants. the sun and clouds and the title are cut from the strips paper from this line.

sunday scrapping

had a busy morning. laundry with jenny, stew leonards, cleaned the kids room, supermarket, then a nice quiet break! yup home all by my self! it was awesome!

i got this cc cb for that cute little toaster! i was so psyched to use it!



and another page with the feb v-day wip kit! i used glimmer mist on the ellies studio journaling tag.

cupcake banner feb v-day wip kit

the kids and i went to michaels this am. i found this cute cupcake cb book in the $1 section. a lightbulb went off!

i came home and got to work! i used the feb valentines wip kit and my mini book, added bobunny alpha that i covered in db glitter. added the glitter hearts (from target $1 section) and instead of inking i glittered the edges!

i used the cupcake papers we are using for alexas birthday to make the flowers, and added pearls to the flower centers. i used some really old mm velvet ribbon, and thats it!

alexa loves it!!!

soooo i decided since i never scrap on my desk, and it was such a total disaster area (scary actually!) that i needed a new plan for my spot.

i think this is a much better solution for me. it is so much neater! i just grab what i want to use and go find a comfy spot to scrap (coffee table, kitchen counter, etc...)

i am so very happy with it!



these three are from assorted wip kits (you know how much i love a wip kit!!!!) i used the letter paper to disguise the title on the lo with ds and the rhinos butt lol!!!!

happy 5th birthday wil!!!!

i can't believe he is 5 years old already!!!! he is my little miracle boy! i am so amazed by him everyday! i almost lost him at 12 weeks gestation, he was born at 33 weeks and had to be resuscitated, and lives everyday with neuro-fibro-matosis type 1! he is an amazing little guy

i made his cake with a 9x13 chocolate cake, vanilla frosting a colored yellow. then used a simple 10x sugar and milk icing that i colored in orange, blue, black and left some white for the details of sponge bob. funny thing is he is not allowed to watch the show lol!!!


i made this gift topper from the feb scrapbook sussies kit!!! i am the feb gdt and soooooo very excited!!! i can't wait to share all the pages i made with that kit!!!!!!
