LEO #8 swirlie flowers

here is my leo #8. these flowers used to be the big thing when i was a kid, and it was great to play like a kid again!! * i also cut apart a prima bling swirl to accentuate my title!



you'll need paper, ink, scissor, and you can use a pencil, but i like the tight center a small pliers gives me!



cut you circle (i just freehand it) and thencut round and round until you get to the center. i leave a little big in the center, so it pops out. i also like to rub a little ink on it, but it is not necessary.



now for the fun! grab the center with your pliers, and start swirling round and round tightly. when you release it from the pliers it will uncurl a little.



and they are all done! i use craft glue dots on my page to adhere them.

ribbon heart

this is my leo #7, i had to make it a real quickie.


i made a loop with the ribbon then too the end and came around the bottom and made a second loop (does that make sense??). i held it together with the brad.

sooo i really want that swiss cheese punch, but why spend the money when you can use a tool you have sitting around.

i used my small ek heart punch and then used the hearts down the side.

i bought it, so i'm using it!

so these pics are of me. gavin is a clone of his mom lol!!! the list of things in my crib with me, would never ever happen today!!!!

i think the little cloud punch was the perfect touch! the butterfly came out a little messy, but hey at least i used the goods right?? lol

hump day scrapping

I made these for the kids as an after school treat today! they are from Bakerella blog. i used a mix of 50-50 wheat and white flour.


here is my LEO #5, i used the 5/9/09 sketch for this one, from NutsAboutSketches

i picked up this stencil pack on the $1 section at Target this past weekend.


embossing for dummies...
I used the not very sharp pencil on the back of the cor'dinations cardstock.
then i flipped it over and sanded gently.


here is a sketch from paper popsicles. I got ink on the bears belly so i had to disguise it with stickles.
the happy stamp is 1/2 of a happy birthday stamp from cosmo cricket. i cut the stamp in half so that it would be more user friendly and maybe get used more often??? lol

here is mt leo #3. we had to recycle something or use something nsbr on our page. i saved this bit of fabric from an old pair of dh's undies, lol i knew i would use it one day!!

so i started this page last night. wanted to make a fun page (think his is pretty fun looking) then i realized i may have scrapped one of the pics of wil in the tree before lol oh well.

i cut the prima branch to fit. used sass birds and the flowers and paper are from the july ps kit.. i used cinnamon stickles on the thickers.

today's leo was one of my favorite kind, a color palette!! yay!!! i used nuts about sketches week #72 single page sketch for this one!



i printed 4 wallets of the same pic, and used gun metal stickles to accent the pp.

first off i wanted to share matte photo paper it is cheap (yay) and fun to use! i used it for the "beauty" page, fun to distress the edges, because it is more like paper than photo paper!!

more hopping! saturday scrapping

i actually did this one last night while watching the wizards of waverly place movie. i know i'm a cheese ball... it was GOOD! lol

then this one i just finished up. i was questioning my paper/color choice, but hey it's done!

when it rains, SCRAP!!

Alexa too a 3 hour nap! wil played nicely and mr gp too a nap, so i got some soooo needed quiet scrap time!

i decided to use some really old bg lily kate paper!! i love to purge, but could not get rid of the bg!! glad i still had it for this page. i also busted out some old jolees flower lol!


this one was a cb challenge on paperpopsicles! it was HARD!!! no embellies or alpha but cb!! harder than it sounds.

first i finished the hand drawn sketch challenge from paperpopsicles. for some reason i kept forgetting to glue the journaling down lol


yesterday i made the cupcakes for alexas summer party! then last minute we decided we needed goody bags. of course i can't leave well enough alone, so i made tags for them this am! doesn't everyone do that at 6am???

so my spot has been moved! little mr gavin is all over the place, and it was safer and easier just to move my scrappy stuff out of the living room for a while. it was a nice change to scrap somewhere else.
