you've got to pick up this weeks kit! splash dance, it's soooo pretty!!! i used an old page form an mm journaling book for the title/journaling block. i created the ruffle from the cardstock.

this challenge was to use more than 1 alpha on your page! i love doing that. i used the raindrops from the echo park sticker sheets, and created the clouds. i also made the sun from echo park paper. tfl!

the kids love to learn about all the "bugs"

and they love the little"bugs" they can stand behind for photo ops! and now they have a dora and diego 4d movie we all love too!

you i love love love this kit from queen*scraps i used log cabin smooch spritzon the cardstock which i also got at q*s i made the stitched flower from the kits ribbon.
the birds and owl are cut out from one of the papers, i used pop dots behing the owls!

this is such a fabulous kit from queen*scraps!!! so bright and happy!!! i used sketch #21 from sketchabilities for this page i ran the ribbon through my little xyron to make it all crinklie (made up word lol) on the page.

sweet peach sketch chellenge

on the sweet peach crop shop blog every week they post a sketch challenge. here is my page... i haven't scanned a page in a long time, the scanner messed up the color of the butterfly, the color is right on the last pic!

now how to make the butterflies.....

grab some old heart stickers and pop dots...

cut the bottom point off the heart to create wings, then add popdots to the wings for dimension (optional)

i used bling in the center, but you can do buttons or stickles etc...

thaw #6 and this weeks nuts!

here it is the 3rd and last challenge for this weeks thaw! we had to use something school related on a non school page. i dug through my drawers again, and found the brother flashcard! i used this weeks nuts about sketches sketch for this one! hmmm looks like i'm missing a piece of bling lol gotta look for that and glue it back on!

can you say COLOR!!! you know i love lots of color!! so challenge #5 was perfect for me, colors in my garden. well i dont have a garden, but if i did, you'd know it was there lol

what's up wednesday

this is what's up this week! making flower butterflies!
i cut the tree out from the echo park journaling card, and then inked it and put it on popdots.

i punched the stars in the strip of brown paper, and backed it with the white paper.

this weeks pile-it-on

this week the dt at pile-it-on is sponsored by KAH-wink-E-dink stamps. we were given exclusive access to BRAND NEW images!!!! this pic is one of the few from our va vacation. she loves that cowgirl hat from the childrens place!!! so i used a yellow and brown smooch spritz on the boot digi stamp, then i distressed it.

i used bling for the flourish and for my title. the flourish i cut from a kaiser bling thqat had flowers on it. the title is from glitz, and it is a couple years old.

found a new challenge last night!

i found this fun challenge last night on the scraptacular mb this weeks challenge is posted by lisa w. the challenge is to add not 1 but 2 banners to your lo!

this is what i came up with (you know i love me some echo park!!!!)

i cut the trianlge banner, and put each triangle on a popdot. i used the echo park little alphas on then for my title (funshine). i added bling to the echo park butterfly and now it looks like jb butterfly!

thaw challenge #3 & a nuts about sketch

this is my (yes 2 pager) lo for the 3rd thaw challenge from up the street! for this challenge we had to make it movie related.
this weeks 2 page sketch from nuts about sketches was just perfect for my pics!!
i used lots of leftover kit goodies from top shelf memories!

i am loving this weeks challenges!
challenge #2 is to use neutrals with a dash of one color. here is my take...

i used my scallop punch, and layered the papers and the ribbon to give a ruffled skirted look. i created the heart with kaiser pearls.
